Wow,dosent time fly,i didnt realise how long it had been since i added to my diary..

Firstly, i would like to thank everyone who is following this diary, and for all of the comments and questions i have received since starting this...

........you do learn a hell of a lot though, and i would highly recommend a nestbox cam to anyone considering breeding parrots, especially birds like caiques, who are known for feather plucking their chicks

So............so far so good............all is going better than planned, they have settled in well and now have the colder months to adjust to their new enviroment,
for the year ahead, my only concern will be to get them settled and healthy, once i am happy with their health, i will go the next step to get them into a breeding condition and think about babies,
until then, i just plan to enjoy them being happy, and look forward to what next year will bring,

Will update over the next few weeks, as to what we are doing to prepare them for the colder weather, on how we change thier diet to adjust for that, and the small changes we can make, to ensure they are toastie warm for the winter months............
