The story of Jasper the Black Headed Caique Part 7 Told by his owner David Pell New Discoveries Hi there, it's been a little while since we updated you all on how Jasper is getting on. It seems incredible that each time we visit Jasper he has developed so much more in every way. Our friend the breeder decided to get Jasper his own "bedroom" for the remainder of Jasper's time - He just loves it. He is in and out of it all day and when the sun goes to sleep, well, so does Jasper. Off he goes through into his bedroom, and only comes out again when he gets hungry. At this point, he troops down from his bedroom and proceeds to sing for his dinner at the front door of his cage. . Whilst he is now snacking away on a variety of fruit and indeed hard seed, he still needs this supplementing with the handrearing formula. He loves this and bobs his little head up and down as he goes. As he is finding that he wants his handrearing food less and less, he is beginning to turn away and as a consequence of this, the formula trickles down his breast, so he has to have a good wipe down after each feed. He is happy however to lie flat on his back in the palm of a hand whilst he is tidied up. Jasper is very curious and took great delight in Sarah's hair - once on the table, he darted quickly across, climbed up her arm and proceeded to bury himself in her hair. This picture was taken before he disappeared altogether in there!!!!!
The other picture is Jasper posing for you all. More to follow soon.
