Everybody come surfin', It's fun, fun fun!

Hi Dudes, it's me, Jasper here. I've taken up a new hobby called Hair Surfing but enough of that for the moment.

You've not heard from me for a while but I have been busy settling in and getting to know things. I've now sussed my humans out and can wind them round my little beak. I seem to be able to do it to everyone who comes to visit - must be my irresistable charm they're ugly - I mean, they're all grey and they're not remotely colourful like me.

I guess they think just coz they've got red tails that they're special, well, they're not! I'm the only one that's special here, coz I'm JASPER!!!!!

Anyway, back to the fun stuff. I've learnt lots since I've been here and have lots of ace toys to play with. I love my wiffle balls in fact my mum has been rather clever and threaded a wiffle ball onto a piece of leather strap that I can dangle on and play with my ball at the same time. That does rather pale into comparison though with surfing.

I've tried it with both mum and dad, but it's not really quite the same doing it on old baldy, so I always try it on mum when I can. It's difficult to master, and even more difficult to explain so I'll show you a video that dad took. Mind, I think he musta been on the sherry though when he took it as at times the video looks like we're on a boat - mind you though, I am surfing so perhaps it was just artistic licence.

Anyway, that's me for the time being. I'm off to polish my surfing skills. Dad says he'll buy me a surf shirt when I get really good.
