I would recommend a Caique highly as a parrot, but I wouldnt recommend as a first parrot, as they can be demanding and unpredictable.

That said i have not had any problems so far... I knew when i read up about caiques that they would be fun to watch etc, but in all honestly, they surpass my expectations by far already, they adore food, i have had no feeding problems as yet.
The only 1 thing i will point out is when you read about these guys being noisy at times, dont ignore it, they can be very very loud indeed.
